The world is ending, the apocalypse is near. This statement just seems even more true as time goes on and day after day we must bear witness to horrible events, one more devastating than the next. That statement is also the premise of this story, seeing it in its most literal form. In a way this is supposed to be an escape, both for the viewer and for the character. The viewer may escape from their own reality by envisioning a future that is not yet lost with hope still left. The character escapes from her own reality with the problems her world is facing and journeys on in search of a brighter future.

So as the world is ending we are taken on a journey through space, exploring what the universe has to offer and searching for a strange planet that may offer us a future we never could have imagined. An otherworldly vision, a journey to find a new world. An escape from reality, a fantastical vision of the future.

Inspired by the 80s retro-futurism aesthetic with bright, silver-metallic clothing but also slightly weird shapes and strange settings combined with themes from space exploration this story takes shape displaying a forward thinking and future driven but also nostalgic feeling.
